my god what is happening here? we went from multiple postings to complete nothing. Is everyone giving up riding and chatting ? I know I haven't been posting but I enjoy reading what all of you guys have been doing. I wanted to ride a lot more but working every weekend doesn't leave any time for that, any free time is used to catch up at home. did get to go to sahara 1st weekend in oct. perfect weather and great sand. there must have been 25 of us of and on all weekend. well just a small post to say hello and hope we can all get together soon.

I agree. Myself, I've been dealing with my mothers health the last 3 months. She passed away 2 weeks ago and I've been out of town taking care of that business. Would like to get a ride in sometime, but time is tight.

Sorry to hear your news, Joe. Best and prayers to you and your family.

I haven't fixed the swingarm on the Scrammy. Waited for funds to come, then called up Oz, Darren, but the Scrammy they had was an 05; parts different. So I guess I'll go new, but I've been spending all the nice weather doing what I didn't do much at all this summer, out at the land. Shaping up well. Lean to, new deck, firewood, etc.

My place is always available for riding or meeting, if anybody wants to suggest something.

The road between the Lecompton exit off I-70 and Lecompton/Perry is still closed. Looks like they're close to being done. But keep using the first Lawrence exit (Hwy 24) to get to the Perry ride area for now. Just an FYI.

I was thinking the same the other day... where is everyone? It has been hunting season for me the last month or so. Hopefully there will be some warmer days in December or January to ride.

All the boards around here are kinda dead. Usally happens this time of year. Between work, catching up on the honey do list and fixing the cumulative damage to the quads from last seasons ridding, not much time to do anything else.

foneman, sorry to here about your mother, prayers and thoughts with you.

I survived. Almost didnt make it to Christmas. I got my suburban stuck in the mountains. Almost was stuck until spring. Found someone to bring up a tractor. No tow trucks woulld touch me. I was in the Danskins. I havent rode since then. I over revved the motor in my suburban it is now knocking. The weather in ID is a lot warmer than what you guys got we are looking at 40 for sunday. I might go riding.

Did you get stuck in snow or mud? Its been a unusual winter here. I haven't seen the snow stick around this long ever. it usually melts in a couple days, dang global warming.

Well I got stuck in snow. I have it posted on facebook. Craig I think we can both agree we have had some Fd up year in 2009. I tell you what you should fly out here. We can go riding. I have an extra room. I also have an extra quad. Lots of riding. A lot of it is closed to snow, but still alot to see. There is also an airforce base here.

Hey everybody. I lurk in every week or so. Haven't ridden since CO, scram swingarm still broke, all dollars going elsewhere. My attention is mainly on the farm, lean to on cabin, new deck, new second floor indoors, etc. Looking harder at putting a house out there. That kind of thing. Holidays. New semester started. But i'm tired of just working and having the scram in my garage, thinking about fixing it and going riding. As soon as the winter lets go a little bit... Sorry to hear about the hard times. Hope 2010 gets better for everyone.

Well I too have not riddin since Taylor Park this past summer. Mostly putting mine back together, which I did. Work has kept me busy Plus Time off of work has been Busy visiting Family not to mention the holidays. I am soo glad to be done with it all and to get back to a schedule. I wish I was a millinaire so when the holidays roll around I could disappear to an island in the caribean from Nov to Feb. don't get me wrong, I love my family I just don't the rest of the world with the packed stores clogged roads etc.

I have been getting alot of use out of my ATV however with all the snow to Plow. I am the Hero of the neighborhood as the city doesn't do our street or neighborhood till the snow is about all gone. I have been doing my cul-de-sak, street and then a route all the way to the main road which is plowed and cleared. I also hit some of the drive way entrances so that ppl can get in/out of the driveway. Then I go back and do the corners and make sure they stay good/clean so the 2wd can make the corners safer. Some neighbors ask me to do their drives but the ATV Plow doesn't do that great of a "clean" pass so it at least helps.

Its odd though, I really don't have the desire to go "Riding". Either its the cold, or I am losing the Passion I once had for ATVing. I am looking forward to TP 2010 if all goes well.

However I did ride a Snow Mobile today that a guy brought in for work (we don't normally work on Snow Mobiles but this just needed a carbed clean and fuel filter) I asked the customer if I could take a spin in the field and he let me. WoW, you don't want to turn too fast with those. they are a roll over nightmare. I didn't but I sure can tell why.

Boy this site is dead again. I snooped around over at MidMo Mudslingers and they don't have alot of activity either. I also found out there is another ATV forum in KC, looks like there is not alot of activity there either. Heres a link to that site KCATV. It also looks like Mid Missouri Mudslingers is having meeting in Feb. Maybe I'll try to attend.

I'm still here.. . haven't been too busy, looking for a job and college in the evening.
I will admit.. I avoided the forums for a little bit, I was too sad that I had to go to a wedding instead of Chadwick.. or riding ANYWHERE for that matter. It was BEAUTIFUL outside. LOL

This website got blocked for a while at work. Most everything got blocked. We couldnt even do what we had to do, so they loosened things up a bit. That explains why I havent checked in for a long time.

We built a snow plow for the arctic cat this winter since it was so flipping snowy. Just got a generator for the camper, so we are just about set to camp anywhere. Went riding with a buddy at perry a couple weekends ago. Hope everyone is going great. I will try to check in a lil more often.
